Print and Web// Poster Research

I like how the the line gives the sence of travel and thats what I want to adopt in my design. This beginning a simple idea is what makes it really appeal to me. The hard colours give this nice clean look which again, I want to find in my design. Because I found this on Designspiration I couldn't seem to find an artist name. This sort of design reminds more of the posters they make at 'The Head Of State'. Maybe it's worth looking there for some more inspiration.

Again with this design, the lines give the idea of movement. The colours make Air Canada seem positive and the right air line to choose! I'm not quite sure why though. I very much like the background colour, this sort of grainy effect gives a playful character, almost like it has been coloured in with children's crayons.

This I blogged simply because I liked the illustration, I thought I could possibly adopt this sort of style into my poster but I feel much more confident that the posters above would be more suitable. I'm guessing the white triangle underneath the bike is a road. I don't like the colour though, red conntoes mostly negativity but I managed to find this poster in blue! Follow this link to have a look : BLUEPOSTER

I chose this poster because I liked the design, however the message this poster gives to me is it is all a race? Having the three bikes with the 'Tron' like white rectangle coming off the back can only connote speed while having 3 bikes (1st, 2nd and 3rd) only enforce this statement! However, I like the how only two colours have been used making the poster legible and not over the top.

I managed to come across this I very much like the road used here, it i simply a curly line but the meaning is clear and obvious. The idea of movement and getting somewhere is obvious in this, like some of the other posters I discovered. Not a massive fan of the colour used. From first glance I think a blue would work really nicely. My design is almost finished and I am temped to add buildings, like the designer has done here but with mountains, from trying it out the poster becomes abit too busy. I have got to think about how much text I am going to use before thinking about adding more imagery. The poster has to be legible and readable if to be put up in a place occupied by people of different nationalities.
