Environmentally Friendly Logos
............................................................................................................
Here are some logos for environmentally friendly organizations. There is a heavy use of green through out these design which obviously connotes the earth, tress and gives the idea of a fresh thought and lets the audience know that this is a logo is for a better world. Sam Lane had a go at designing a logo for our packaging and he has gone with the conventional green colour.
If you follow this link SAM LANE it will take you to his step by step through creating this logo. The name we came up with is simple but effective. 'JuicePurse'. Cheesy, but fun and obvious. You can see in his logo that change from light green to dark green has this circle which symbolises the earth. Its simple designs like this is the logo that the audience will recognise. If you looked at this logo for the first time I believe it would be simple to put one and one together and notice that this is indeed a logo supporting world health. Well done sam!

Professional examples of Home made wallets:
I managed to find these examples on Tree Hugger.com and you can see the variety of cartons used to make the wallet. Possibly that is something to take in to consideration. The brand being the product. This could be a environmentally safe organisation that trys to get high end brands like Nesquik to introduce a fun and easy way to recycle and re use their packaging.
Recycled skateboard Designs
I decided to blog these because here is another way of making use of broken objects (in this case skateboards) that would usually just be thrown away. This designer who unfortunately I can not find has in the workshop created these miniature game chairs out of his broken skateboards. This is most defiantly a lot harder than making a home made wallet and you need a lot more than just a cutting knife but I find that this relates to this project. Different and creative ways of making something out of rubbish, stuff thats ready to be thrown away.

Lid!
1) Cut open the carton so it lies flat, as shown; put aside the cap for now. Dry the inside with the paper towels. Tape the template on top of the carton so that the top circle lines up with the spout. Mark the outline of the template with a ballpoint pen. Using firm pressure, trace the lower circle and the dotted lines of the template so that they transfer to the carton. (This will score the lines for easier folding.) A ruler will help you mark the straight lines. Cut out the shape from the carton.
2) Use scissors to cut out the lower circle as marked. (Tip: To make cutting out the circle easier, first make an X with a craft knife.) Use a ruler and a butter knife to further score the fold lines.
3) Following the fold lines you marked, create an accordion fold on each side of the wallet.
4) Tightly squeeze the accordion folds. Fold the top flap down, pushing the spout through the hole. Screw on the cap to keep the flap in place.
