When the group were working away making the cartons I decided to film their process and progress so in the end I thought it best to begin a short film of the week. Today I filmed them making the purses and also pressing them and the footage is looking quite professional & I am looking forward to the final outcome. I think is wise ti use a song like in the video above. Bonobo, Quantic, Zero 7 etc. I really chilled song will work wonders and thats why I have blogged this video as there is evidence and proof that a song like this will work! I am using my HD 500d to film.
Here is a video that I made last year with my friend Doug Hindson. I am blogging this as context as I don't want it to be involved with the work on my design practise page. The reason I have decided to use this as refrence is I intend to use these 'close up' shots. They are very effective and give great effect as usually you can film angles that can't be seen with the human eye.

I love this video so much. This would be a dream job for me. I love getting messy and stuck in and this looks like so much fun. Again, I am inspired and by the camera technique and the close up the camera man uses. The montage like video works perfectly with the folk 'hillbilly' music. My video will have to have something a bit more modern as the studio it is filmed in simply wouldn't suit any music from the past. I am speechless and this video and others like it really get me excited to letterpress and press. I am still a virgin to the letterpress :( I must sort that out!
