Book Jigs
The stock used I adore, the left example looks as if it had been printed on antique white and if you look closly you can see the green ribbon going down the bottom section of the bookmark, nice effect as it gives a 3D feel. It makes the stem stand out. The text used and the illustrations are lovely and imaginative and would suit a children's book. I won't that the illustrations into consideration but I will take the shape. With this sort of bookmark I always wonder whether you need something a bit bigger and longer as in the past I have had the problem of losing it. It always tend to get lost in the pages meaning you have to scan you book for the mark.

Liquid Bookmark
In terms of making a book mark that would really suit the content of the book this would be quite perfect. As the Big Sleeps is a book of murder and blood shed (to an extent) having a book mark similar to this could work quite well. In my opinion I'm not sure I would want a bookmark like this as it does put me on edge. I would want something more relaxing and conventional possibly?

The Bedside Bookmark House
I love this idea it reminds of of a docking station or something along those lines. I like the idea you can have this 'docking station' next to your reading chair and every time you have finished reading your book simply place it upon this where it will keep it safe and keep the page you are on. I'm interested to find more examples like this that are really thinking outside of the box.

Wooden Bookmarks
Wooden bookmarks! This I think is a great idea, as I can go to the laser cut machine and cut wooden shapes and illustrations in to the wood. The gun I have on the book cover I am hopefully going to get cut into the wood and that will be a great finish. I need to get someone to help me though as this is something I have never done before. I do know some people who are doing furniture so that might be my best bet. These images I found on google images, I like the bottom example as they have at the cross out making the bookmark more visually pleading and interesting.
