Responsive// Ted Baker Collaboration// Design

For the actual design I want to make it simple yet effective. I have noticed from the examples I decided to look into that most ever bottle is simple and of course effective. Text is limited and with that also imagery.

Ted Backer Woman's Range

Polo Black Bottle & Packaging

These colours work perfectly together and connote royalty. The shinny effect also adds to this suggesting it is brand new and expensive. Which I like. I do feel we need to add a coloiur of the union jack into this design as we are in fact promoting Ted Baker which a British company. I have constructed a design sheet where I list possible colours which you will find on my Design Practise blog.

Versace

Acqua Di Gio

Simple with calming colours, I have this and the bottle made or a misty glass which gives this diamond like effect. One thing I haven't done is put whether the product is for him or for her. However I thought the crown and the tiara would send this message.

J-H-L

Really like the maroon colour used on the design. This cologne has a real sense of wealth and royalty around it which is a plus when designing a cologne bottle. I'm beginning to get the idea that its the colour of the cologne itself plays a massive role with the look and feel of the overall design.

Chanel

I come back again to Chanel as the design is so perfect yet so simple! No illustrations, just nice type. I supoose it is the design of the bottle that makes this perfume and thats why Nigel and I have decided to go with this bottle. Simple colours too but I think thats something we shouldn't do with our design.
