Get the London Look

Not perfume, but, the idea is obvious. The colours used all are colours of the union jack and this is enforced by the union jack appearing in the background a few times. Its this sort of road we want to go down in making Ted Baker becoming recognised in other countries, by getting the english look.

Ted Baker Female/ Colour

Colour is a way of making the bottle be easily recognised by each gender. Personally I don't want to have a pink bottle and a blue bottle because it looks rather tacky. I do like the wooden bottom to this example. Its a very nice finish! With the pink though it seems slightly odd.

Making the Bottle appeal to the right Gender

Now, this IS NOT what we are thinking of when it comes to the shape of the bottle. However , it is very important to make the shape of the bottle have subtle conventions to the shape and bild of the male and female bottle. This makes the perfume appeal more so to the chosen gender. Of course we could think about other ways of the shape of the bottle linking to other things but I like the idea of this. The example below is how shape and style can connote other things.

Channel Perfume Bottle

I am a fan when it comes to this design of bottle and its this design of bottle that has been used for the channel number 5 for a very long time now. When you first look at it you think of a whisky bottle or something else along those lines. The glass whisky bottle automatically makes us think of upper class habitat in the UK during the early 1900s. Whisky bottle, a glass and by history a 'high class' gentlemen. It was a mans drink, but what was a womans drink during this time? Could you like a stereotypical drink into a perfume bottle?
